A Feast for Odin: The Norwegians is the essential expansion for fans of the acclaimed Viking strategy game A Feast for Odin. Designed to enhance gameplay and increase replayability, this expansion introduces new actions, exploration opportunities, animals, buildings and scoring options, creating even more strategic depth.

A Redesigned Action Board

The centerpiece of the expansion is a completely redesigned action board made up of three double-sided sections. Depending on the number of players, different configurations can be used, creating fresh tactical challenges and increasing player interaction.

New actions such as elk hunting, fishing, butchering and thievery open up additional paths to victory. Existing actions have also been improved, making certain strategies, particularly animal breeding strategies, more viable and rewarding.

A brand-new fifth column introduces powerful actions that require only one Viking worker. These actions provide outstanding efficiency but come with a trade-off: once you use an action from this column, you may not place any additional Vikings during that round.

New Animals and Puzzle Tiles

The expansion adds unique puzzle tiles that bring new planning opportunities to your settlement board. Two new animal types also make their debut:

• Horses, valuable livestock that provide significant end-game points.
• Pigs, which breed more frequently than other animals and support highly productive farming strategies.

New grey special tiles can be forged using ore, offering additional ways to convert resources into valuable rewards and optimize your economy.

Explore New Islands and Settlements

Set sail toward four new exploration boards featuring locations such as the Isle of Man, Isle of Skye, Islay and the Outer Hebrides. On the reverse side, players will discover Viking settlements along the Irish coast, including Waterford, Cork, Wexford and Limerick.

These destinations provide additional opportunities for expansion, trading and scoring points while increasing the variety of available strategies.

Unique Artisan Buildings

At the beginning of the game, each player receives a random artisan shed. These special buildings offer unique layouts and rewards, encouraging different approaches every time you play.

Like the longhouse and stone house, artisan sheds reward careful tile placement with bonus goods, silver and victory points, creating new strategic possibilities from the very first round.

Additional Scoring Opportunities

Occupation cards can now be exchanged for victory point tokens instead of being played. Because the highest-value tokens are limited, players must carefully decide when to secure points and when to pursue other advantages.

The expansion also includes additional game components such as extra silver coins, resources and a mountain strip to fully support the new content.
