Medicine in Imperial Rome is an art of progress and rivalry. Galen is the most respected doctor. In the Galen board game, you try to earn Galen's respect and enter his inner sanctum.

Galenus is a worker placement game in which you plan and solve actions. You recruit patients and treat them, you gain knowledge about the four humors (black bile, yellow bile, phlegm and blood), publish works based on knowledge, buy herbs, rejuvenate in baths and adopt new philosophies.

In the game Galenus, the players themselves decide when and how to solve their actions. It is therefore possible that some players are still planning actions, while others are solving actions.
