Gloomhaven: Buttons & Bugs

Gloomhaven: Buttons & Bugs is a compact solo game with a playstyle similar to Gloomhaven. The game features an original campaign story. 

Gloomhaven: Buttons & Bugs takes place after the events of Gloomhaven and Forgotten Circles. You're a wannabe hero. In an attempt to become famous, you visit the Aesther recluse Hail. You are the size of a mouse and find yourself in a realm of lawlessness and self-preservation. Try to enter Crooked Bone.

Each scenario is a single map, pitting one mercenary against a handful of enemies with simplified actions and AI. Each mercenary only has four double-sided cards in hand, but these can be used twice – both front and back – before being discarded.

Attacks are resolved using a die in combination with a modification table. Both the table and the mercenary skill cards can be improved as you level up throughout the campaign.
