Moon Colony Bloodbath is a unique engine-building and engine-losing tableau game where players must keep their lunar colonies alive while facing an ever-growing number of disasters. Expand your base, develop new technologies, and keep as many colonists alive as possible.

A Shared Deck Full of Opportunities and Threats

The game is driven by a shared deck that changes throughout the game. At the start, the deck contains four Work cards, two Trouble cards, and two Twist cards.

Each turn, one card is revealed:

• Work: all players perform an action simultaneously.
• Trouble: a new disaster card is added to the deck.
• Twist: a special effect changes the rules or situation.

Build and Manage Your Moon Colony

During Work rounds, players choose from several actions. Mine for resources, grow food, conduct research, construct buildings, or restock existing structures.

Creating an efficient economy and a resilient colony is crucial if you want to survive the harsh conditions of life on the Moon.

Disasters Keep Escalating

Trouble cards introduce new event cards into the shared deck. Hunger, paperwork, glitches, accidents, leaks, and power failures are only some of the dangers that may threaten your colony.

Whenever the deck is shuffled, these events can return, making every cycle more dangerous than the last.

Add New Cards to the Deck

Players can introduce new cards into the shared deck. Some provide personal benefits, while others affect every player. This creates an interesting balance between self-preservation and shaping the environment around you.

How Do You Win?

The game ends when one colony loses all of its people or when the event deck reaches its end. The player with the highest number of surviving colonists is declared the winner.
