My City (EN)

My City is a competitive legacy game by renowned author Reiner Knizia. The game revolves around the construction of buildings over several generations, with the community beginning in the early pre-industrial stages and developing through industrialization.

In My City, each player has a board on which they build their city. At the beginning of the campaign, it has several different features—empty spaces, rocks, trees, and so on. The buildings players build are represented by Tetris-like shapes in different colors. A deck of cards is placed between the players, and a card with one of the shapes is turned over each time. Players then have to build it into their city.

The My City campaign consists of 24 games, divided into eight chapters of three games each. In each game, players customize their experience by adding components and rules to their personal boards and cards, and to the game itself. Player choices and actions made during one game carry over to the next session, creating a unique, personalized gaming experience.
