Namiji

In the game Namiji you are a fisherman. Take to the sea and discover the hidden wonders of the Japanese coast.

Watch the animals, fish with a line or net to fill your racks. You can make stops to improve your fishing equipment. It can also be worthwhile to make sacrifices to the gods.

The gameplay of the Namiji game is similar to that of the Tokaido game. The action spaces are laid out on a linear track on the game board, with players following this track to take actions. The player currently last on the track takes a turn by moving forward on the track to the desired action and taking that action. Players choose whether to progress slowly to get more turns, or travel faster to beat other players. The actions on the track are different from those of Tokaido.
