Prepare your kingdom for the viking onslaught

The year is 793, and the Northumbrian coast burns. The raid on Lindisfarne was only the beginning — more plunderers are on their way. As the ruler of Wessex, Mercia, Northumbria, or East Anglia, you must strengthen your realm and brace for the northern storm.

In Norsewind, you build your kingdom card by card in a clever tableau. Each turn, choose a new card to expand your realm — cities, castles, followers, or fortifications — and place it strategically to gain the best rewards. But beware: the larger your kingdom grows, the more it will attract the Vikings’ wrath!

Gather loyal followers, upgrade your castles, and reinforce your defenses. At the end of the game, you’ll score each row in your tableau — but only if your defense is stronger than the incoming Viking assault. Survive the raids, expand your domain, and prove that your realm is the mightiest in all of England.
