Paws Up

Become the Most Popular Pet Influencer

In Paws Up, players take on the role of ambitious pet influencers competing to earn the most paws. By collecting the right photo cards, claiming valuable trophies and timing your moves wisely, you'll build the most successful online pet profile.

How to Play Paws Up

Each player starts the game with five photo cards in hand. Every card displays a paw value, which represents its strength and scoring potential during the game.

1. Reveal three cards from the deck.
2. All players secretly choose one card from their hand.
3. The chosen cards are revealed simultaneously.
4. The player who played the highest-value card selects one of the available cards and swaps it with their played card.
5. The remaining players do the same in descending order of card value.

Collect Sets and Claim Trophies

Players can claim trophies by creating specific combinations of cards in their hand. A valid set consists of three cards that share one of the following characteristics:

• The same animal type;
• The same paw value;
• The same environment.

The first player to claim a trophy earns the highest reward. As the game progresses, trophy values decrease, creating an exciting race to complete sets before your opponents.

Timing Is Everything

While trophies become less valuable over time, the animal cards become more powerful as the game advances through its different decks. Players must carefully decide whether to secure points early or wait for stronger opportunities later in the game.

Combining card drafting, collection mechanics and tactical decision-making, Paws Up is an engaging family card game that is easy to learn and rewarding to master.
