Salton Sea is a salt lake in California. In this area with intense geothermal activity you will collect and sell lithium. The extraction of the material and its subsequent processing are the driving force behind every player's business.

On his turn, he places one of his four engineers on an available action space. There are three different groups of actions: 
- industrial action (which allows you to obtain an exploration permit, drill, extract, process or repair machinery),
- commercial actions (sell, acquire contract and execute contract),
- management actions (research, buying shares, developing the business project or financing itself).

To win the Salton Sea game, players must strategically deploy their engineers to get the most out of their business. In addition, they are rewarded for exhausted land, completed contracts, short-term goals, business development or research progress.
