The Old King's Crown

Claim the Throne of a Forgotten Kingdom

The Old King's Crown is a strategic board game where ambitious heirs compete for control of an ancient kingdom. With the throne standing empty, players must gather influence, secure territories, and outmaneuver their rivals to become the rightful ruler.

Combining card-driven gameplay, hidden deployment, and tactical area control, every round presents new opportunities and difficult choices. Success depends on careful planning, clever timing, and the ability to anticipate your opponents' next move.

Strategic Area Control and Hidden Actions

Players move their Herald across the board to claim valuable locations and establish their presence throughout the kingdom. At the same time, cards are secretly deployed to different regions, creating tension and uncertainty as everyone prepares for upcoming conflicts.

Once all cards have been revealed, battles are resolved and rewards are distributed. Balancing public actions with hidden strategies is essential for gaining the upper hand and securing key positions on the map.

Unique Factions and Powerful Followers

Each faction offers distinct abilities and followers that can shape your path to victory. By combining special powers with the strengths of your cards, you can develop powerful strategies and adapt to changing circumstances throughout the game.

Earn Influence and Rule the Realm

Victories in contested regions grant valuable rewards, additional opportunities, and most importantly, influence. Since influence determines the winner, every decision contributes to your long-term ambitions.

After a set number of rounds, the player with the greatest influence is crowned the new ruler. Whether you choose diplomacy, deception, or direct confrontation, every path offers unique strategic possibilities.
