In The Peak Team, 1–5 players become wildlife rangers with a shared mission: protecting the animals in the reserve and safeguarding their natural habitat. This cooperative adventure by Scott Almes focuses on teamwork, clever planning, and making the most of the tools you receive.
The main board features a towering mountain divided into distinct regions. Using a unique reverse-drafting mechanic, players assign cards to one another, ensuring each ranger gets the equipment they need to explore new paths, travel via different transport systems, and observe wildlife throughout the reserve.
By reaching key locations and interacting with wildlife, rangers complete their personal mission slots. The team wins only if all missions are fulfilled before actions run out. A tiered level system increases difficulty and complexity over time, adding new layers of challenge with every session.
