Battle for Thebes and rebuild the Cadmea
In Thebai, you step into a turbulent era of the late Bronze Age. The brothers Polynices and Eteocles wage war for power, while the city of Thebes is under siege and its famous citadel, the Cadmea, lies in ruins. The noble families see their chance: the time for new leadership has come.
As an influential leader of a noble house, you work to rebuild the Cadmea, strengthen the city gates, restore Thebes’ economy, and seek the favor of the gods. Each round consists of an Action Phase, where you act through your Archon and Citizen die, followed by a Fate Phase that brings new opportunities and challenges.
After 10 rounds, the player with the most Victory Points—earned through building, protecting, and strategic planning—wins the game.
