Strategic board game
Tianxia is a strategic board game in which you take on the role of a noble family leader. Your goal is to earn prestige and win the favor of the powerful rulers who govern the Seven Warring Kingdoms.
The game lasts four rounds. Each round you appoint governors, strengthen the power of rival ruling houses, and trade goods with merchant ships along the Chinese coasts. Meanwhile, danger looms from the north, where nomadic warriors constantly threaten the borders of the kingdoms.
Game mechanics
- Political influence: place governors and earn the favor of ruling houses.
- Trade: sell goods to merchant ships and increase your wealth.
- Military defense: train soldiers and build walls and towers to repel the nomads.
- Common threat: each round, nomads advance toward the borders. Once they reach them, a battle takes place that affects all players.
