The rural town of Utopia is home to just a handful of people and a whole lot of dirt and rocks. When the sand snakes burrowed to the surface to feed, there weren't a lot of targets to choose from.
To make matters worse, the Eyeless, an extra terrestrial being sent to clear the Earth of its inhabitants, just so happened to arrive at the same time. With extra sensory hearing and lightning-quick agility, death will come quickly for anyone within earshot.
